Free Palestine, pro-peace, 21st Century Scribe.
History is never over, but it may be cyclical. And it is always unfolding, so that generations of the future parallel the past. When you notice it happening, and you have little control over the events that unfold, what else can you do but record what is happening? What else can you do but write?
For the vast majority of the world, it’s a struggle to get through life at the moment. Many people are currently unable to get their basic needs met. They navigate many crises at once, including ones of health, affordability, loneliness, alienation, addiction, and housing. Social systems are straining. They can only hold for so long, and when they break there may be more civil discord, civic unrest. At the same time, tension builds in many areas across the globe, a changing of the world order as Western complicity in the destruction of Palestine becomes known, and the coups and forever wars across the world become better understood. The more I read, the better I understand how corruption works, and how villains have operated in areas I did not expect.
Something historical is happening; some kind of crescendo as oligarchs fight amongst themselves. It is my belief that we have entered a painful era that we must get through before a huge culture shift. There may be suffering and negativity for the next few years, followed by an era of positivity, creativity, scientific discovery, and peace. I write about these things to try to develop community, record history as a 21st Scribe, and keep hope alive until this happens.
